To buy or not to buy: Renault Safrane?

Unless you have a great stash of cash, and a heart for these Renaults, avoid it. The rear shock absorbers are unavailable, and when last sold, were approximately �500 a pair. There are better, cheaper Renaults to be had. What about a 21 Quadra Turbo? Maybe a Citroen DS (The proper one, not the new heap) How about a Renault Alpine?
