What evidence is there that the footprint near the kaaba is Ibrahim's ?

There is no historical evidence that Ibrahim built the kaaba. There is no actual evidence that Ibrahim actually lived in Mecca. What we we hear about Ibrahim are stories. He was actually a nomadic leader who came from Mesopotamia now a days Iraq. There is no way to prove that the foot print belong to Ibrahim.
