What do you think my chances are of getting into BYU?

What's your ACT score? Your GPA is a little low, but that can be offset. However, I'd expect you'd need a ACT score in the 30's. You have a lot of extra-curricular activities, which is good. I like your essays, because they do explain the low GPA your first year of high school, and more importantly what you have been and are doing to make it better. Hey, it's worth a shot. Also, remember that you can go somewhere else first and transfer to BYU after an ociates or something. Cheers!
