Want a loan/credit card...if I have bad credit...no co-signer?

what are my options? long story short..my payment history is good however, I have cosigned for a few of my friends (don't ask) and needless to say I am not friends with them anymore. I want to get a small loan or even get a credit card...I never needed one nor do I want one, but still...I need to rebuild my credit and get back on track. Please you financially advanced people what can I do?!?!
