What does LTD mean in terms of snowboarding?!??!?!?

I was looking at a Burton snowboard and it was titled "Burton Hero LTD" ... I have seen the burton hero a bunch but never anywhere have i seen LTD at the end. I think it might mean limited edition because it has a different paint job then other burton hero snowboards. THANKS
