Vague States poem? any prospectives?
"Vague States" , as a title piqued my curiosity. It was like a brush of wind on the back of my neck. So I said, here we go, another poem. Yet I was intrigued by the shape the words formed, spread on the page. Then I read the first verse and the first two lines of the second verse and had to stop. My eyes started to well up. I left my computer, grabbed some tissue, wiped my eyes. I then began to cry. I'm a middle age man, not quickly prone to tears, but I knew what awaited me in the unread portions of your poem. I won't convey to you my interpertation of your work or why I cried. That's between your poem and me, but I will tell you, It's one of the most ingenious and effective pieces of "painting with words" I've ever read.
