A question for Men about ual Promiscuity?

What is it about being Gay that generates the stereotype of being ually promiscuous. I mean I don't know the specifics as I am not Gay but often times I here that ual promiscuity is very common amongst Gays. I mean with all the media I've ever been shown on Gay Pride Parades, it wouldn't surprise me that Gays are a very ually Promiscuous group of people. I don't know if this is a stereotype or fact that Gays have multiple ual partners in a given night but since I hear about it whenever I hear of things relating to uality, I wonder if Sexual Promiscuity is in fact a part of being Gay or a stereotype that is fueled by Straight people trying to scare other Straights into staying Straight. I do not mean to offend anyone in asking this, I am just asking if the Promiscuousness belief is a truth or stereotype.
