Is Duke a cursed school for NBA players?

Duke is always a candidate to be in the Final Four. Players from Duke seem to run into some catastrophe in the NBA. Bobby Hurley and Jay Williams got into motorcycle accidents. Christian Laettner never developed into the great player he was supposed to be. Grant Hill went through numerous ankle injuries. Recently, Elton Brand had a ruptured Achilles and missed most of the season. Is this coincidence?
