How to delete a line in auto cad using a mac? I hit the delete key on my mac and it doesn't work. ?

I recently installed windows on my mac to be able to run auto cad on it and as i was working I tried to delete a line and nothing would work? Is there a command that I can type or a keyboard shortcut that I can use? Please let me know... Thank you for your help...
