Could somebody advise me how I can sell a 500 lb. propane tank?

I've recently purchased a house and learned that the propane tank is no longer connected to the house, as the heating was switched to natural gas. I was going to try craig's list or the clified's, do propane companies buy these tanks? Thanks for the help.
