MATH hw PLEASE HELP!?!?!?

Good question. Imaginary solutions (ones where you have to take the square root of a negative) mean that on the real plane, there will be no solutions. Note that your x^2 coefficient is positive, so the parabola will face upwards (smiley face) and that your lowest point on the parabola, the vertex, is above the x-axis (-6, 2). It keeps going above the x-axis and never intersects it.
