i am prone to cold sores and have found that whenever i kiss someone new, a cold sore always shows up on my lips a few days later. it always happens! does this mean that the boys i am kissing have hsv-1 in their mouth, and that my cold sore has been triggered by coming into contact with their saliva (which presumably is carrying the virus)?
