Berlin and burma,why the difference?

i remember in the the sixtys,stalin blockaded berlin,america and the rest of the then post war world,maybe even the u.n.got involved and thumbed their noses at the russians and began the berlin airlift,in which the whole of west berlin was supplied with humanitarian aid until the russians eventualy gave up.i believe that is when j.f.k.made the 'ich bin ein berliner'speech.so why not apply the same to burma?it is run by a ruthless,chinese backed,illegal millitary dictatorship.there are thousands,100s of thousands of lives at risk.so why not do the same?or is the world(u.n.)more scared of china?.they are occupied with their own disaster,tibet and the olympic games to interfere into forced humanitarian aid for burma.can it be done? ich bin ein burmese.
